This procedure assumes:

  • Engine 2 has been successfully started

  • APU is operative and remains on during taxi out for Engine 1 start

  • No MELs that would affect normal operation of the APU, Pressurization - Air Conditioning Systems

  • Bleeds On Take-Off to be conducted.

  • De-icing is not required (SETO Reconfiguration Checklist to be introduced in the HOT App)

Considerations:

  • Braking or Steering systems, not INOP

  • Higher brake away thrust will be required to start moving (Ramp, Personnel, Equipment, etc...)

  • Local Airport Directives (Jeppesen)

  • Taxiway and ramp slope

  • Ice, snow, slush, standing water, etc...

  • Airport familiarity

  • WX conditions - visibility, wind intensity, temperature

  • Long taxi time (Fuel Imbalance), Short taxi time (Engine stabilization time), FMC (V - speeds due to bleed configuration)
